Annual Hawaiian Luau Returns

Calabasas Country Club hosted their first Hawaiian Luau since the pandemic on August 26th with fabulous Hawaiian food and drinks. Members and guests  of all ages enjoyed an island extravaganza of song, dance, and celebration from across the Pacific – with hula dancing lessons for the kids! This year’s luau celebration was a sell-out event, where a great time was had by all!

 

The Club’s Fitness Center Boosts New Fall Classes

The Club announced a new fall schedule with more great group classes designed for members of all fitness levels! The classes and workouts are designed to increase muscle mass and bone density and improve joint flexibility and balance while burning calories for weight loss.  The Club also offers outdoor Spin Classes, Mat Pilates, Power Yoga and Yoga Sculpt, and HITT classes to help members obtain their desired health and fitness goals.  

 

Calabasas Men’s Club Hosts the 2022 RTJ Cup

The Calabasas Men’s Club hosted the annual RTJ Cup Tournament on August 20th. Th18 hole RTJ Cup, named for golf club designer Robert Trent Jones, is the club’s annual “TEAM” event where the players are divided up into 2 teams and earn points in a four-ball match play competition. Team 1 was captained by Men's Club President Ryan Byers, and Team 2 was captained by the Men’s Club Vice President Artin Sedighan.

 

Exotic Animal Adventure Delights Parents & Kids

Parents and their kids had the opportunity to see and interact with exotic reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and bugs at the Exotic Animal Adventure event on August 19th. Kids  learned about each species' natural history while seeing and feeling their scales, fur, and exoskeletons up close. The event featured sixteen exotic animals including a 4-foot lizard and 9 -foot python, followed by great snacks and  “Goodie Bags” for the kids!
