Laughter Erupts at Club’s Sold-Out Comedy Magic Show & Dinner
Calabasas Country Club started the year with sold-out event on January 19th, hosted by Comedy Club and Magician Dana Daniels! Teamed with his Psychic Parrot Luigi, Dana proved his little green friend is truly clairvoyant by performing incredible magic blended with rapid-fire clean comedy and audience participation. Dana has won multibed awards including “Comedy Magician of the Year” and “Stage Magician of the Year”. Based on member feedback- he’ll be back at the club again soon!
The Club’s Athletic Center Holds January Fitness Challenge
The Club inspired member to get in shape for the new year with the January Fitness Challenge, where members earned points based on the number of fitness classes they attended and for posting their workout progress online! Congratulations to First Place Winner, Denise Marks, 2nd Place Winner Jodie Katofsky, and 3rd Place Winer Iris Stone! Prizes included free personal training sessions and fabulous athletic apparel branded with the Club’s logo!
Calabasas Men’s Club Hold First Tournament of the Year -The 2023 ABCD
The Calabasas Men’s Club hosted ABCD 2023 Tournament on Saturday, January 21st where members competed playing 18 holes in a 4-Man Scramble format. Players had the opportunity to win great Hole in One prizes including a trip to Pebble Beach for 4 people, Po Shop Awards and Mastercard Awards. Cash prizes were also handed out to golfers in a Closets to the Pin competition. Participants were limited to Men’s Club members only as a way since the purpose of this tournament is to get to know other Men’s club members.
Kids Have Blast with Petting Zoo, Unicorn Ponies & Pizza
Parents and their kids had lots of fun early this year, staring with a Petting Zoo and Unicorn Pony Rides out at the Club’s terrace patio on January 27th. Kids loved feeding and petting the friendly pets, and having a pony ride on “Willow”- the Unicorn Pony. In Honor of National Pizza Day, the club also held an “All About Pizza Dough” Pizza making class on February 9th where kids age’ 5-12 could make their own handmade pizza!
Super Fun Super Bowl LVII at Calabasas Country Club
There's nothing better than a Super Bowl to bring good friends together-even if you're cheering for opposing teams. Philadelphia Eagle fans and Kansas City Chief fans had equal amounts of fun watching the exciting back-and forth battle at Calabasas Country Club on Super Bowl Sunday. While the Eagles looked to be winning in the first half. the Kansas City Chiefs became Super Bowl champions for the second time in four years after completing a thrilling comeback win over the Eagles in Super Bowl 57.
Fans enjoyed a great afternoon of nonstop food, beer, and action while watching the big game on multiple TV big screens at the club. Calabasas Country Club is a home away from home, where members, family, and friends come together and enjoy great camaraderie. Super Bowl Sunday was no exception-everyone was a winner.
