Murder Mystery Dinner is Crime Solvers Delight
The Calabash Room at Calabasas Country Club evolved into a fictional crime scene where members and guests had to solve an Agatha Christie type of murder mystery! The Murder Mystery host explained the rules and clue finding tips throughout the evening. After a buffet dinner filled with multiple murders, the sleuths at Table 8, named the Thoroughbreds, figured out the true villains and won the prize for solving the crimes!
Easter Bunny, Egg Hunt & Easter Champagne Brunch Buffet
Calabasas Country Club celebrated on April 9th with their signature Easter Champagne Brunch where families and friends enjoyed an endless buffet! Kids had a blast visiting with the Easter Bunny, hunting for Easter eggs, and having their faces painted! Kids also enjoyed the petting zoo and bounce house. This popular event is always a sell-out!
Calabasas Men’s Club Hosts 2023 Mens Calabash
Calabasas Country Club hosted their Annual Men’s Member Guest Golf Tournament, The Calabash, on April 13th- April 15th. The Calabash event is the Club’s most prestigious tournament event of the year, where Men’s Club members and their guests enjoyed three days of world-class golf amidst the majestic scenery of Calabasas Hills. This 3-day event included a par 3 contest, five 9-hole matches and two days of competitive golf, followed by a championship horse race including all flight winners to determine the overall Calabash Winner. Honors for the 2023 Calabash Winners went to Anthony & Stewart Polakov. The event culminated with an awards ceremony and banquet gala under the stars with great food, music, and entertainment! The Calabash Banquet Gala has become known as the “Premiere Social Event of Year” and is one of the most anticipated events for members and guests in the greater Calabasas area.
The Club’s Athletic Center March Madness Championship
In the spirt of “March Madness”, the Club’s Athletic Center hosted their own team tournaments where members paired up in team of two to compete for prizes, including the Grand Prize of an $800 book credit at the club! Congratulation to the March Madness winners, Denise Marks and Mario Hong. Second place honors went to Jodie Katofsky & Maria De Los Santos, and third prize went to Olga Fridman and Veronika Fridman!
